Central Scotland Transport
is a company run by two partners who have worked close
together for over ten years within the road transport
and logistics industry. We have worked for a major blue
chip company dealing with major high street retailers
and household names where we have taken the customers
best interests to heart.
We have taken this background and are using it within
our own company where we will remain as hands on
employee’s to ensure that our customer’s goods are
treated as if they were our own goods.
We
are based on the M8 corridor which gives us the
versatility which we believe is best suited to our
customers needs with easy access to all routes north,
south or east to west, both vehicles can be contacted by
mobile phone which is on a complete hands free system
for road safety and complete security we also plan on
having a satellite tracking system in both vehicles
shortly which will enable us to track vehicle where
about at all times which will further enhance our secure
load planning and even greater on- time arrivals.
The vehicles will be maintained under a contract hire
agreement to which we feel offers us the best back up
service to maintain a hassle free operation and total
commitment to our customers which is achieved by minimum
down time and replacement vehicles allowing us to
operate to full capacity at all times.
Both drivers will be presented in company uniform of
polo shirt with company logo and drivers name also
sweatshirt with company logo and drivers name, same
colour drivers combat trousers and outer jacket with
logo and appropriate personal protective equipment to
carry out the relevant duties in a health and safety
environment. Each driver will also carry company I.D
cards to assist with verifications as to who they are
and why they are on the premises.
All
drivers will under go a full two day driver training
programme once a year so as to comply with all insurance
requests and will
also count towards their drivers certificate of
professional competence which will be introduced shortly
which all H.G.V drivers must obtain before being allowed
to drive large goods vehicles.
All drivers will be
fully trained in all aspects of the customer’s paperwork
and working environment, this will be carried out before
the commencement of any work under taken to ensure both
sides are satisfied.
We will strive to complete a quotation within one hour
of the notification and aim to give the best for the
customer; all work under taken will be given priority
action against it by having the vehicle with the
customer as quickly as possible.
